In 2008 Lis won the 'Ferry Tales' Art Commission and her storytelling
'vessel with necklace' was unveiled, by the Island Storytellers,
at the Classic Boat Museum, Newport, Isle of Wight.
The artwork was exhibited at Quay Arts and then went on tour round
the Island until the 'Ferry Tales' Festival, in May, when it became the
focus of a storytelling competition.
Lis was also commissioned to make trophies for the winners.
